Born in Athens (Greece), Dimitrios Kousoulas received his education in the Lyceum of Argos, and the University of Ioannina (B.A. in Archaeology and History of Art, 2004), participating in several seminars and archaeological researches. He further studied Classical Archaeology (M. A.) at the University of Bonn, where he specialized on ancient Greek sculpture. At the School of Professional Education in Epidauros, he has learned, for two years, the ancient techniques of marble-carving, copying himself ancient Greek masterpieces on Attic marble. For several years, he worked in excavations as an archaeologist in the Argolid, Arcadia, Cyclades and Cythera. He has written several papers concerning the ancient Greek sculpture and coinage.
