ANASTASSIATHE, Maria (Molly)

Born in Greece, Maria (Molly) Anastassiathe received a thorough classical education with several honorary distinctions and awards for academic excellence. Molly graduated from the University of Athens, School of Philosophy (B.A. in History, 1988); she continued her graduate studies at Bryn Mawr College, Department of Greek, on a graduate scholarship and received her M.A. degree in Ancient Greek in 1997.

ASSIMAKOPOULOU, Ianthi

Dr Ianthi Assimakopoulou is currently Assistant Professor of Art History at the University of Athens. Iatnthi taught as Adjunct Academic Staff at the Hellenic Open University and as Adjunct Lecturer at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, the University of Ioannina and the University of Peloponnese. Her Postdoc at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens is focusing on the coexistence of mythological and historical elements and narratives in sixteenth-century art of Florence (in progress, near completion).
